1. Viewing and Navigating2. Creating your own albums 3. Uploading your images4. Re-arrange pictures, etc.

Section 1: Simple Viewing

To get to the Family Gallery, first open www.skok.com in your Web browser. You will see a page that looks something like this:

Click on the link called 'Family Gallery' in the middle of the page.

That will get you to a page that looks like this:

The picture on the right only shows albums for Mally Skok and Paul Quirk. Eventually as each family member starts to upload their pictures, there will be albums here for everyone.

Clicking on the picture above Album: Paul Quirk, will take you down one level in the tree to see all of the albums that Paul has uploaded.

To see the pictures in one of Paul's albums, click the picture on the left, Vancouver Pics.

That will bring you down one more level, and show you the pictures that are in that album.

To view one of the pictures in more detail, simply click on the thumbnail picture.

That will bring you to an enlarged view of that photo.

To advance to the next photo, you will find a link marked 'Next >' at the top right of the photo.

Navigation

To navigate around the site, you use the navigation menu that is just above the picture on the left (see picture -->)

For example to go back to viewing the thumbnails in Paul's Vancouver Pics album, click where it says Vancouver Pics.

To go even further back up, click where it says Paul Quirk. Or to go right back to the top level where you can see all the different family members click where it says Family Gallery.

Viewing the pictures using Slideshow mode

To view all the pictures in an album, in Slideshow mode, where it will automatically advance from one picture to another:

  1. First go to where you can see the thumbnails for that album.

  2. Then, select the drop-down menu below one of the thumbnails.

  3. Click on 'view slideshow'
That will bring you to a screen that looks like this:

  1. You will want to change the max size: entry to 1024x1024, using the drop down menu as shown above.
  2. Also I suggest changing the time to 3 seconds, instead of 15 seconds.
  3. You could also click 'Show More Info' to see the names of the photos as they are displayed.
  4. When you have finished Click the 'Stop' link.

Now you are ready to move on to the next section where you will learn how to create your own albums. 2. Creating your own albums
